Pastors
Eric Turbedsky
Eric and his wife Kirsi arrived in San Diego from the East Coast in late 1996. They participated in the early years of Grace Church San Diego (a related Sovereign Grace Ministries church) before being sent to the Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastors College in 2000. Afterwards, he returned to serve on the pastoral team of Grace Church for eight years and Kirsi transitioned from full-time student to over-time motherhood (they now have four children). In 2009, Eric was sent by Grace Church, and in partnership with Sovereign Grace Church Pasadena joined the Orange County church planting team as Senior Pastor.
In 1991, Mike, Lois, and their one-year-old son moved to Pasadena from Idaho. They attended Sovereign Grace Church of Pasadena for thirteen years, where Mike led small groups and served as Children’s Ministry Director. In 2004, Mike, sensing a call to vocational ministry packed up the family and moved to Gaithersburg, MD where he attended the Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastors College. The family returned to the Pasadena area in 2005, but only for a short while. In 2006 the family again moved, this time to Orange County to plant the church. In Orange County, Mike now works at UCI and serves as a part-time staff member of our leadership team.
