We believe God intends for us to do life together. This truth is found at the very core of what Jesus accomplished on the Cross, for He has reconciled us both to Himself and to each other.  God never intended for us to live the Christian life alone. You might say we were meant for one other!

However, meaningful relationships don’t just happen. Our natural tendency is to live increasingly isolated lives.  The Small Group Ministry is our attempt to make relationships and community a reality at Sovereign Grace Church. Groups meet 2-4 times per month in church members’ homes throughout Orange County and generally consist of 12-20 adults.  Some groups include young children in their meetings.

The groups are led by men in the church who have been identified and trained by the pastoral team. Their role is that of a servant, facilitating the pursuit of God-centered relationships. Meetings typically include some singing, prayer, a group discussion, and time to enjoy conversation with each other. The goal is mutual care and the pursuit of godliness, with an emphasis on application rather than education. These are not Bible studies. We are sharing our lives.

Guests are welcome in our meetings and more information on how to participate in a small group is available on Sundays in the lobby or by contacting the church office. Interact with the map below to find a group that might work for you.
