About me

Loved by God despite my sin, married to a girl I don’t deserve, four children that bring me tons of joy, and more friends than one heart could ever hold.  People seem to prefer describing me with words that start with the letter “H”… hyper, hairy, hillbilly, half-crazed, handsome (thanks mom!), and hexadactylous.  I’m not sure any of this helps but you get the idea.

Eric and his wife Kirsi arrived in San Diego from the East Coast in late 1996.  They participated in the early years of Grace Church San Diego (a related Sovereign Grace Ministries church) before being sent to the Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastors College in 2000.  Afterwards, he returned to serve on the pastoral team of Grace Church for eight years and Kirsi transitioned from full-time student to over-time motherhood (they now have four children).  In 2009, Eric was sent by Grace Church, and in partnership with Sovereign Grace Church Pasadena joined the Orange County church planting team as Senior Pastor.
